What Are the Types of Breast Aesthetics?

Breast Augmentation
(Augmentation Mammoplasty); It is a method used in the treatment of small breasts due to sudden weight loss, postpartum or developmental reasons, age-related, disproportionate breast size compared to their body. It is made to add volume to the breasts. The type of implant to be used for breast augmentation is determined according to the age, weight, height and shape of the rib cage of the patient.
Breast Reduction
(Reduction Mammoplasty); This treatment method is used in cases where some drugs and tumors cause breast enlargement due to weight gain, some developmental problems. In this treatment method, the structure in the breast tissue is reduced or the fat tissue in the breast tissue is removed.
Breast Lift
(Mastopexy); This treatment method is used in age-related breast sagging. It is used in the treatment of sagging breasts not only due to age-related reasons, but also hormonal reasons, after pregnancy and breastfeeding, and sudden weight loss.
Gynecomastia
It is known as the preferred breast reduction operation for men. It is a breast aesthetic application used to treat lubrication around the breasts caused by hormonal reasons and some diseases in men.
How is the Surgery and
Recovery Process?
After breast surgery, the patient should be hospitalized for one or two days in the hospital. After 1 or 2 days of hospitalization, drains are placed which help in collecting the fluids accumulated in the breast. After these procedures, the patient is discharged after wearing a sports bra. 1 or 2 weeks after discharge, the patient is called for a doctor’s examination, and in the examination performed in the 2nd week, the stitches are removed and the scar treatment begins. You can take a shower 4 days after breast surgery. After 1 week of rest, it is possible to return to social life.
