MD. Burak Sercan Erçin

Born in the beautiful city of Izmir, Turkey, in 1986, I am a proud parent of two lovely children and a devoted spouse. My academic journey started at Ali Şir Nevai Primary School, followed by my secondary and high school education at the prestigious Izmir Çiğli Milli Piyango Anatolian High School. In 2010, I graduated from the renowned Ege University Faculty of Medicine.

Following my compulsory service in Van Erciş, I passed the specialization exam and commenced my specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Ege University. During my residency, I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Deniz Dayıcıoğlu at the University of South Florida and Tampa General Hospital in the United States to enhance my knowledge and experience in breast and burn reconstruction. Additionally, in my final year of residency, I collaborated with Dr. Pedro Cavadas, a world-renowned reconstructive microsurgeon, in Valencia, Spain. In 2017, I completed my specialization and served my compulsory service at Siirt State Hospital.

Just before concluding my compulsory service, I passed the 2018 EBOPRAS (European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery) exams with flying colors, and was granted a qualification diploma.

I had few consultations in the UK but I wasn't entirely confident if they could get me to my desired size. But when I found Dr Burak and had my initial video consultation with him, I instantly knew he was the right surgeon and so I travelled from the UK to Turkey. Dr Burak is a highly skilled surgeon. He is very knowledgeable, attentive, professional and yet so humble and kind. He ensured I was comfortable throughout the entire process, both before and after my breast reduction surgery. He's very patient and approachable.
